Hi Dave,

Great to hear you doing well, you was the first person to speak to me back in 2016 when i was diagnosed and i thank you for that. It is good to see somebody diagnosed with 9 to still be around and long may it last.

I was signed off about 2021 and all is ok, take care.

John.

Hi,David was diagnosed nine years ago Gleason 9 Tb3, he’s on lifelong HT and doing well. Hasn’t ever been offered or discussed intermittent HT I know be delighted to have some time off for good behaviour.
Might be worth a chat with the oncologist.

Thanks for sharing your journey and to all the other contribututors it gives me hope and courage to have a go at whatever is coming my way and it really helps to be amongst others in the same boat.

That’s truly inspiring to hear. A Gleason 9 diagnosis can be terrifying, so your story offers real hope for those just starting their journey. You’re right that treatments have improved, but knowing someone has thrived this long despite the odds is so reassuring. Thanks for coming back to share your experience, it means more than you know to those currently facing similar uncertainty
