Hi Rob.

Great result mate. Long may they continue.👍

Although my PSA  has been undetectable for almost 27 months, I'm currently still  having  checks every three months. I've got another later this week. I book my own tests so I think I could have them whenever I wanted. However, I might email the surgeon and see if he thinks it would now be in order for me to get checked every 6 months.

Hi I’m 10 weeks post RARP surgery and have my 12 week PSA scheduled at the end of the month. With this in mind is there anything I should be looking out for in terms of the result? I spoke to the surgical consultant who upgraded my Gleason to 8 (4+4) after the pathology report, but I completely forgot to ask about the PSA and what is a good reading post surgery. I think I was too preoccupied on trying to understand what the upgraded Gleason meant. I feel fine 10 weeks on and have started swimming and running again with no immediate issues, so fingers crossed 🤞

Hi jonnybran.

I wouldn't worry too much about a raised Gleason score following your op, it often happens. What I'd be asking is, what's  my cancer staging, and have I got negative margins?

Your level of fitness should aid a good recovery. Good luck mate.👍
