Thanks Mrs MAS, so sorry to hear about your Allan. For each one we lose, the rest of us are reminded to make the best of every day. There are no guarantees. Sending a big hug. D

Apologies David,

Just seeing this. As Phil says, Thank you for giving breath to Michael's words again. He is ridiculously worth it.

I dont normally do the the picture thing , however my picture, now, Is of my dog Moss, earlier this year on Luskentyre beach. I urge anyone , albeit that it consists of much travel , to follow in Michaels footsteps.

Its so so worth it.

When you eventually arrive there?

You'll know.

RIP Michael.

Jamie.

Hi Jamie, Mrs MAS (sorry to hear about your Alan - my condolences), and other contributors to this discussion thread. Sorry to have taken a little time to reply, but somehow life and living get in the way!! I will try to make it to Harris and that beach one day. For now, I am just taking things six months at a time (the interval between testing), and so far, so good. Still have an undetectable PSA and looking forward to kicking the hormone therapy into touch around April 2026. Although that does bring with it some worries, as you can imagine. Overall, life is good despite the economy, cost of living, lack of work, lack of money etc. It's a pleasure to wake up each morning next to my lovely wife, the sun shining in through the window. Now 2 years and 5 months since diagnosis. I hope everyone who reads this is doing okay or much better than okay. We´ve got this. David
