Apologies for being late to this conversation, I don't drop in so often now.  I am an Invercorp user and have also experienced the failure to have any effect.  Disappointing to say the least when it happens.

Then I tried using the pump before injecting.  I reasoned that if the cavernosum (sp) is deflated it was a small target and easily missed.  Since switching to this method I have not had a single failure.

The usual caveats, we are all different. I had a prostatectomy and Radiotherapy and have no 'natural ability' to generate an erection.

Cheers all, I hope that you have equal success.  Invercorp is an amazing product (when it works) that doesn't seem to have any downside to it

Thank you very much for your input.

I don't use a pump and like you I can't get a natural erection. What I did was follow another users advice, to soap down with warm water, to get a little swelling, then inject the Invicorp. Touch wood, it now works like a dream!

As you say its imperative to inject in the right place. It is indeed a fab product when injected correctly. It's enhanced my life immeasurably.

Once again many thanks.

Adrian

Can't you just buy your partner a nurses outfit? Works for me :) :)

Not a chance Steve!

Nurses wear fob watches, and I don't want her to affirm how quick I am.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I have been using Caverject succesfully for 16 years. Recently I had 3 failures, including one where I doubled the dose.

I will try the methods you have suggested and report back. As Caverject is unavailable again, out of stock very annoying, I have ordered some Invicorp 25.

I will keep you posted and your conversation and advice has been very reassuring. Thanks again.

Have you been getting your Caverject on prescription? I get Invicorp prescribed.  Only five phials a month. They obviously dont realise what a love machine I am.

I keep stockpiling a few for special occasions like  birthdays and Xmas. 🙂

Ordered mine privately but very expensive. If it works will try to get it on prescription, although my doctor doesn’t seem aware of it.

I have an appt with the consultant on Friday and will be asking about erection support here in France. The VED works therapeutically but is not very successful for intercourse.

I have just read that Invicorp is not approved in France as trials were not successful and there were some potential side effects but it seems that the alternative is EDEX.

I don't suppose anyone has any experience of this as an alternative do they?

No experience of EDEX

It is French Caverject, identical stuff according to Google.

Same as British caverject but with a hint of garlic.

Hi JDHD

I have just seen your post in this thread. Whilst VEDs have many advantages, even after you get over the problem of discomfort when putting the ring/s on and taking them off, the issue of spontaneity is a major hurdle. The success of this approach depends on team work, both psychologically and practically. My wife and I had known each other for nearly 50 years with a good sex life when I was diagnosed and had my prostatectomy (2021). Like many couples we were willing to do everything necessary to re-establish our intimate life. Because of my age and my wife's strong desire that I should avoid any invasive solutions including Viagra type drugs the option of VEDs was the only choice. It has been quite a journey. With a VED you have the options of either you pump up before foreplay or after. Neither options are romantic, particular if you pump yourself before foreplay; penetrative or any other form of intimacy has a limited time limit of 30 minutes and also the hinge effect seriously inhibits physical movements. So for us it is foreplay first. A suitable vibrator is a good companion for us because when I interrupt to pump myself up my wife keeps herself in a sem-excited state by using the vibrator or quite often she reads!  Initially the process of pumping up seems very difficult but with practice and everything at hand in the bathroom I can achieve an erection in about three minutes.  Boasting? Yes/No! -I have introduced a few short cuts which ignores a lot of the instructions which are normally given by the manufacturers and ED nurses! If you wish to know how please private message me and will offer you a link. Happy New Year to all you generous and brave guys and your wives and partners.

Presumably she doesn't read and vibrate at the same time. I imagine that would cause considerable 'optical wobble', and make the print seem blurry. 🙂

Joking apart, initially I found it difficult introducing Invicorp into lovemaking.  I've found it's best to prepare a syringe full prior to foreplay and leave it loaded on the bedside table ready for action.

I've also stopped storing it in the fridge next to the Lurpak. It was making the butter too hard to spread.

That’s funny, Adrian! Your comment about my wife’s use of a vibrator while reading in bed reminds me of the time, some years ago, when we introduced vibrators in our bedroom. Initially we tried commonly available ones. The battery operated ones were not powerful enough. I purchased a wand-type vibrator which within seconds of my wife using it decided that it was suitable only for elephants! But then we came across the Eroscillator. The main difference between this and other vibrators is that, as its name implies, its head vibrates in the horizontal plane, side to side, compared with the usual ones which vibrate vertically, up and down motion. The side-to-side vibrations simulates the movement of a finger on any sensitive spot like the clitoris or the frenulum on a penis; better than the ‘thumping’ action which does not feel natural. We have been using this one for many years and it has become a very useful addition in our sex repertoire; following prostatectomy it has been particular useful. This oscillator is the only one sponsored and recommended by the famous American sexologist Dr Ruth who says “The Eroscillator really can make your sex life better”. It is not cheap; you can purchase it from Amazon but see the various options at eroscillator.com. It is mains operated, comes with 6 different heads and a long cord, suitable for hotel bedrooms! It is not cheap but Amazon has deals with fewer heads.

It sounds a beast.

Vibrators worry me. If someone ever invents one that can put up shelves and cut the grass. It will make all men redundant.

Hi all...so iv been following this thread and have also had some ups and downs with invicorp and caverjet. Although they both work perfect when I inject on the right hand side iv had no success when injecting on the left side. I think there are more veins on the left side and I'm probably going into them instead...I also worry when injecting the invicorp as I always get an erection which lasts going upto but not over 4 hours. Caverject injections go down after an hour. Does anybody else have these same problems?

Hello mate, welcome to the forum.

Plenty of 'ups and downs' is what you want from these injections. 😄

Joking apart. Contrary to their advice I usually inject in the righthand side and hardly ever in the left. I have much more control in the right, and never had success in the left. Its probably due to me being able to inject more accurately in the righthand side. As stated when I hit the sweet spot my erections last 2/3 hours.

Cheers m8....

I'm the same never any problems when I inject on the right hand side...my only concern is the ed nurse said you have to rotate injection sites are you could cause a bend in the penis...I'm still quite new to it so it's still a learning curve. Have you done it that way for a long time with no problems I.e causing a bend ect?
